This might sound crazy....but, has anybody ever considered using "mouth-wash" (the alcohol type) with cleaning a pipe ?? Has anybody ever tried it, or, heard of anybody trying to use this ?? Just a thought....(one of too many...ha,ha,ha,....)- juozapas

We have "Dollar Stores" here in Barrie,Ontario,Canada.....they have all kinds of containers. I guess, like the other members pointed out, that it's important that it has a proper and good seal. This will ensure its freshness. I like to turn the canister over a few times...just to keep the...- juozapas

Crazy idea but.....
I was just thinking...( I know that's a scarey thought...) but I'm wondering if the "filters" on the cigarrettes could be broken off and then inserted between the stem and mouthpiece and used as a pipe filter ?? I myself have omitted cigarrettes from my consumption too, but, I wonder if the...- juozapas

Another Beginners question.
Good info... Is it bad on your system if we let the "cake-ing" get too much ?? As a general rule...is it better to use a "fresher" or "newer" pipe rather than a really old one ? Which brings to mind...are estate pipes "less healthier" than a new broken in pipe ?...(sorry for the questions..but...- juozapas
