I think you’re right @BROBS. From the Flickr images, would you say the whole band should be restored to smooth black, or should it be a little speckled, like the rustication, everywhere except the smooth bottom?- fontbandit

Are Most Pipe Racks Made Wrong
I love the way pipes look stored horizontally, like in a pipe shop. I spent a long time rack-hunting, but couldn't find one that would grow with my collection.
