    "Almost 50 years ago I walked away from a two pack a day habit. Cold turkey. Don't complicate with different ways of quitting, it only makes it more difficult. Easily said but just do it.

    What Defines a Good Smoke?

    I think that any experienced pipe smoker rarely has a poor smoke. Given the mood, the weather, the environment, you could have an exceptional smoke. Some knowing me may be surprised but I do not smoke everyday. Also my tobacco enjoyment is divided 50 5o with some great cigars.

    To be honest, I have a plethora of lighters including high end. The one I go to almost all the time? A zippo. They are not a pipe incinerator aka butane. With the new fuel, it is much less in imparting fumes, just let it burn for a few seconds before lighting the tobacco.
