@Jason... well there are several studies now that show nicotine to have a plethora of health benefits. The problem really is cigarettes, they are filled with loads of chemicals that are horrible for you (including some that have highly addictive qualities) but the tobacco (to a point) is not...- captainprophesy

Being one of the most sold tobacco's in the USA... most local B&M's will sell it in bulk... you can pick up 1 ounce to see if you fancy it! Actually even better... most local B&M will let you sample from their jars if you have your pipe with you :)- captainprophesy

I agree... but that in itself makes it even more personal, the fact that it is being given by a loved one. I have 2 pipes that were gifted to me over the years, one by my wife and the second by my best friend... both pipes are very dear to me, not because they are great pipes (which they are)...- captainprophesy
