    Show Us Your Savinelli Pipes!

My first Savinelli is on its way. I was originally in for Tundra series pipe (either 122 or 320) but accidentally saw this (unsmoked!) Moka 122 and just couldn't resist. There's not much info about Moka series. I know it was discontinued at least 15 years ago. Also, some posts on this Forum...

Happy 80th Birthday To Tom & Jerry.

Agree. Moreover, it's a shame that some of the shorts are now found "inappropriate for the intended audiences" and are censored from the public broadcast and even DVD-collections. O tempora, o mores! Glad I had an opportunity to watch all of them back in my childhood :)

    Piping Pet Peeves

Actually, smoking a pipe regularly helps taming my pet peeves significantly. I just have to ignore all these annoying little things or else I won't have a good smoke. So it is a therapy of sorts after all.

    Ye Old Analoge Thread

I do use fountain pens (on a daily basis) and Leuchtturm1917 notebooks. I have plenty of smaller palm-size notebooks scattered in my bags and briefcases wherein I make notes with mechanical pencils and fancier ballpoints (like Pentel Excel) all the time.

    Dunhill WWI Campaign Pipe

~£6 per pipe is absolutely possible nowadays. Say, in Greece you can buy a smokable briar under EUR9.

£5 in 1914 is equivalent in purchasing power to about £580.74 in 2020

    Fountain Pens

Exactly. I had severe FPAD about 6 years ago. Now I posses a handful of "big whales" (MB149, Pelikan M1k, Duofold Cent., Omas 360) along with smaller and simpler FPs. Although I hand-wright daily, the only FP in my current "rotation" is Pilot Fermo.

    New Moonshine Pipe

Lovely pipe! I'm a converted fan of Moonshine pipes as well. They smoke effortlessly and the quality is outstanding. Hopefully, their Briar Works offerings are as good.

Thanks! Alcohol-dipped bristle cleaner didn't work for me. So maybe I should try soaking the stem in oxyclean first.

I mean: is there a tried and tested way to easily clean the p-lip. I though maybe some kind of an abrasive string...

Thanks! Is there a trade secret how to clean a p-lip?
