***What Are You Smoking, March 2024?***

It's not a shape I've always been attracted to - moreso recently. I went through a long period of being drawn to taller bowls- stacks and chimneys. Recently though, I've bought a few small apples and princes. They're perfect for shorter smokes and also very comfortable to clench.

Can only speak for mine but it is very good. Stem is flawless. I've had nothing but terrific smokes since I got it.

    Adventures In PAD: The Switcheroo

Will do- should arrive Monday. I've found that if a stem on a 3/4 or full bent pipe is too close to 90°, it will require too much leverage on the teeth to keep it clenched. A more relaxed bend like this Regina may not look like much but it's likely to be more comfortable. We'll see.

Show Off Your Kai Nielsen Pipes!

A lot of his pipes are in the sub-5"/sub-28g category, so theoretically right up my alley. There's a couple more I like the look of but woof.. I'm trying hard not to get in the habit of purchasing pipes in that price range.

First Kai.. first modern Danish made pipe I think lol. I'm impressed. Considering the price, I was going in to it with a critical eye. It delivers.

Show Off Your Kai Nielsen Pipes!

Danish pipes in general (contemporary ones anyway) have never been the apples of my eye. This Kai Nielsen is making a challenge of my assertions. A Jewell of Denmark A (Straight Grain) grade apple with horn stem is about to get an inaugural smoke. Giving it the once over, I must admit I am...

    Adventures In PAD: The Switcheroo

I've been eyeballing a certain pipe for almost six months. It's an olive wood billiard by Mimmo Provenzano - real pretty, right in my size range. Last week I got an email from this particular Italian retailer with a 15% off coupon code. Today seemed a good time to put that code to use... might...
