    Leather Bound Pipes

Leather covered pipes were a big thing in the 1950s I believe. I don't think they serve a functional element to the pipe, just aesthetics.

    What are You Reading Now?

I'm about 4 chapters into this one. I don't usually read memoirs, but I was a big Star Trek fan growing up. His early life has been quite interesting so far- his childhood home had no refrigeration, and this is 1950s northern England.

Watch Out or Watch on? Pt 2.

Tragedy! While playing with my son the glass face cover came off, and in my attempt to pop it back in, it broke. It was only $20, but still 👎

Watch Out or Watch on? Pt 2.

After a while of humming and hawwing over it, I bought my first wooden watch, a Bobobird. Again, not a bad buy for $30 Canadian.

The Official Dr. Grabow Color Duke Thread

Apart from the classic cob, I'm not sure there is a pipe with a more polarizing effect than the now almost 50 year old Color Duke line from Dr. Grabow. Have one? Love them? Hate them? Collect them? Have an interesting back story about them? Here is the place to discuss them. These are my...

    Correct Wax For Meerschaum Pipes

This was the best to use (from what I remember reading) but I believe it's illegal now.

Show off Your Ropp Pipes here!

And they are on sale now at SP.com! I don't think the inventory has been updated from the last time I looked for a good horn-stemmed pipe, though.

    Color Duke Restored

Yes! I have two Color Dukes and, while polarizing, I think are great pipes. Good work cleaning that up!
