I don't have any idea...I smoked it Thursday morning, put a pipe cleaner in it and set it on my pipe rack. I was going to clean it this morning and noticed the crack. I know the crack wasn't there between smokes the last time.- rsshreck32

Small Crack in the Mortise
I noticed this little crack, or what appears to be a little crack in the mortise area of my Radice Rind. My fingernail doesn't catch on it but a small pocket knife does. In the photo, its top left area. I know its not the best photo, but my phone camera is lacking. I'm not sure how this...- rsshreck32

The Perique is definitely peppery. I find the Virginia to be slightly sweet, maybe it's a topping. Most Virginias burn my mouth but I don't have that issue with Exclusive. Like Paul, I also dry mine out a bit. Since you're smoking bulk, a few weeks in a jar may help also. But maybe the sorcery...- rsshreck32
