Ghosting..Is it that Big of a Deal?

Never ever bothered me, I come from the era that we only had one or two pipes and just shoved what ever tobacco in, now I have well over 200 pipes I still don't bother about ghosting, so what if it tastes a bit different, it soon corrects it self.

    Pipe Smoking and Sports

I started to smoke a Pipe when I was belaying my fellow climber, just to keep my hands warm, in my early day's of climbing it was not called a sport, but to keep myself fit for my climbing I started to cycle, and then racing in cycle races, quiet successful and still puffing on my pipe, only a...

    Hello from Western Australia

Hi and welcome from Northamptonshire, England, a lot of Dutch pipes are made of porcelain and usually stamped with the makers name, they were made in great numbers. Sorry but I am not a fan of them.

Has Your Palate for Tobacco Changed Over Time?

    New to the Forum!

I will be there, smoke the pipe that I sent you, tobacco's in a bigger bowl smokes better, in clays, in the past, tobaccos were blended for a short smoke, modern tobaccos are made for a longer smoke. In clay's the tobacco is nearer to Cigarette tobacco in the past. Hope to see you there.
