    Four Ornsby Pipes And Counting

I use a piece of flake in the base of the bowl to prevent clogging and have found it works for me. Your right about the aluminium tenon however and over polishing it can cause a loose fit which can allow that awful stinky tobacco juice to go all over your hand. I have fixed that issue on the one...

I loved the packaging too but unfortunately they’re now in that horrible cow pat green packets and covered in warnings. I don’t think Players are available anymore here, the only filterless cigs I’ve found are Woodbines and the quality of those isn’t what it used to be. I think the overall...

I’ve tired it with Petit Robin but I only smoke cigarettes very occasionally. I rolled Samson for thirty years until it was discontinued here, that was the finest rolling tobacco available imo and I quit when it was all gone.

Presse Canoe Oriental Flake in a 1922 bent Masta. The Latakia flake was delish and this one seems to be as fine a quality.

***What Are You Smoking, March 2024?***

Just got my Estervals order and am drying some Presse Canoe Latakia Flake-20 to smoke in a Sasieni Mayfair apple. I also have the Oriental Flake which I’m looking forward to trying when I get home, if they smoke as good as they smell I’m in for a real treat.

Sorry to hear about your dog, I felt so helpless when the boy in my avatar, Nealus was sick and unfortunately my upstairs neighbours little girl Pepper passed away a couple of days ago too which was very sad as I used to look after her a lot.

I agree, although they don’t taste as strong as I remember but it’s been a long time.

***What Are You Smoking, February 2024?***

I need to modify my above post because just before packing the Fantail I remembered my new Marxman which has only had a couple of smokes so far. The bowl is really big frankly, bigger than I would usually smoke but it’s such a lovely pipe and in great condition and beautiful grain with just a...
