I have several multi-blade Victorinox that were purchased for under $50. But, I just looked those models up and they're ALL OVER $50. I guess prices have gone up on them too in just the past two or three years.
Hmm, I'll be following along to this as well because I'd be interested to know any good B&M's in the DC area. My go-to is always Boswell's (which is about a 90 minute drive from DC)
Currently listening to "Hallelujah" sung by Chris Cornell's 12 year old daughter, Tony. She was singing as a duet with One Republic I believe. Beautiful song sung by a wonderful young lady for her late father.
Great haul, indeed! I was in Charleston last year and did not know there was such a fine tobacco shop there. I will have to stop by the next time I'm there.
I have really liked Carter Hall and I enjoy Captain Black when I want to slum it
Neither are in my rotation usually, although I'm currently working through a pouch of Captain Black cherry that is surprisingly enjoyable.
2 questions....
1- do you have any up-to-date pictures?
2- who is the maker of the pipe? That may not matter as to your coloring question, but I was intrigued because I like the shape.
I don't have those memories of pipe smoking relatives, but my grandfather smoked unfiltered Pall Mall's and there's something about the smoke that reminds me of his and my grandmother's house. We used to visit them over Christmas every year and it is just comforting to think about those days...
And since it's not yet Halloween, I thought we could do a little cross-over this year. A couple of nice transitions, if you ask me. But who am I kidding? I bet most of you haven't read a word I typed and possibly don't even notice that there's a picture on the right.
