    What is your Trigger

My favorite trigger is that of the Swiss K-31. As for the pipe, my consumption has dropped down to about once or twice a week. There's often times I think of having a pipe but I don't necessarily feel triggered. It's more a matter of confirming that several planets are aligned. I'm probably...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2024?***

Mama's snoring like a Cat diesel, so I'm making hay by getting the middle of the night smoke in. Mac Baren HH Old Dark Fired in the trusty Viking Classic Dublin. This tobacco/pipe combination is near perfect and I don't do it often enough.

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

I prefer heavier, deeper flavors than this cigar. Having never tried it, I rolled the dice. It has that, for lack of a better term, graham cracker taste that I don't much care for. It was not terrible flavor, but I won't buy any more. Additionally, this batch seems to have been poorly...

What Cigar are You Smoking? 2024

It claims to be a 15 stick box. It has 3 "levels" of foam inserts to cradle the cigars. If one were to remove one or more of those inserts, more cigars would fit. It has decent latches, two spots for padlocks, a pressure valve for air travel and even a cheap humidifier insert. It's probably more...

***What Are You Smoking, July 2024?***

The rare (for me, these days) back to back smoke. Having some Esoterica Margate in Sante's Poul Winslow Torben Dansk "Banjo" shape, or what I like to call, "Banjo's Banjo". Keep it smokey, fellas.

Amphora Burley Blend is one of the best pouch blends I've ever had. I have a review of that somewhere, also. EDIT: Here: First Impression: Amphora Burley Blend :: Pipe Tobacco Reviews - https://pipesmagazine.com/forums/threads/first-impression-amphora-burley-blend.70977/

My TAD has been rather dormant this year, but I just snagged a lot from @hoosierpipeguy laden with Hal O' The Wynd and then got enough Eight State Burley to get free shipping from SP.

    8th Annual Fishnbanjo Day

. Fishnbanjo Day was started as a good-natured harassment of Sante while he was still with us. It morphed into a memorial of sorts after his passing.

    8th Annual Fishnbanjo Day

I think Sante would have dug some of the more recent cob releases, though he enjoyed showing us how cobs were not disposable items, rocking 100 year old examples.
