Pruning Pipe Collection?
Potentially... I don't even have 7 yet but I'm already considering it. I got one with a vulcanite stem and that is just too much of a pain in the butt. How many bowls a day?
Very similar. I maybe average 1.5 a day? Some days I don't smoke. And then some days I WFH or a weekend at home I could go do 3 - 5- Templekeeper

Pipe Tobacco vs. Cigars question
@rmbittner and @kgs replies got me thinking... Have you tried smoking cigar tobacco in a pipe? This might help narrow down some possibilities. You don't even have to tear open a whole cigar. You can cut off a part of the end of the cigar and shred that so that you can smoke it a pipe. And then...- Templekeeper

Now that's a great idea for a tamper! I was just at a convention where I saw a stand that sold shell casings. It didn't occur to me then, but next time I should maybe grab one for this purpose! Indeed! Not for the tapping of the Keg, but I've gone to different venues including Concordia and the main street as well. It's a lot of fun but the beer is nowhere near as good as from the craft breweries themselves (Waterloo is huge now). I'll have to look up that tobacco shop next time I'm there!- Templekeeper

Good beginner tobacco?
I'm gonna cast my vote on the opposite end of the spectrum and say that it wasn't until trying 1-Q and Autumn evening that I was convinced about pipe smoking. The first ones I tried were not that close to ruining it for me (although the tongue bite caught me off guard) My best advice is that...- Templekeeper
