    Pruning Pipe Collection?

Potentially... I don't even have 7 yet but I'm already considering it. I got one with a vulcanite stem and that is just too much of a pain in the butt. I also got another one online that is way too small (the picture was misleading). It's like a "lady's" pipe or something like that. I'm avoiding...

Show Me Pipe Rack / Storage Options

Just over a month in, and this is what I've got going... Picking up ideas from this thread, since this is going to get old really fast. (Like, really fast. I've already got two more pipes in the mail😆)

Giving Prince Andrew another round, as I'm on the fence about it

    How many bowls a day?

Very similar. I maybe average 1.5 a day? Some days I don't smoke. And then some days I WFH or a weekend at home I could go do 3 - 5

    Pipe Tobacco vs. Cigars question

@rmbittner and @kgs replies got me thinking... Have you tried smoking cigar tobacco in a pipe? This might help narrow down some possibilities. You don't even have to tear open a whole cigar. You can cut off a part of the end of the cigar and shred that so that you can smoke it a pipe. And then...

    Tampers

Now that's a great idea for a tamper! I was just at a convention where I saw a stand that sold shell casings. It didn't occur to me then, but next time I should maybe grab one for this purpose! That being said, I'm not that big on tampers. I'm already obsessing too much with pipes and tobacco...

***What Are You Smoking, March 2023?***

Oh wow! That grain and flame is so interesting and so different! The color is so rich, I'm getting a tiny bit of envy here! For reference, here is the pipe @shermnatman was talking about. Being smoked with Low Country's Hazelnut on this rainy WFM day...

    Ahoy from Southern Ontario, Canada

Indeed! Not for the tapping of the Keg, but I've gone to different venues including Concordia and the main street as well. It's a lot of fun but the beer is nowhere near as good as from the craft breweries themselves (Waterloo is huge now). I'll have to look up that tobacco shop next time I'm there!

    Good beginner tobacco?

I'm gonna cast my vote on the opposite end of the spectrum and say that it wasn't until trying 1-Q and Autumn evening that I was convinced about pipe smoking. The first ones I tried were not that close to ruining it for me (although the tongue bite caught me off guard) My best advice is that...
