I find my Patent Dunnie stems the easiest to "restore". The quality of the ebonite was ( and is ) truly astonishing. Such an immense joy to work on, it truly makes silly me feel happy on a dark day. On a bright day too btw. Through and through black stems are imho a myth. The sulphur is all...

    Another Stuck Stem Question

Freeze the bitch, over and over again. Should work eventually. If not; plug the bowl with a cork , try and drip alcohol in the stem. Let it be for a few days and see what happens.

Stay away from stamps and logos ! Works fine to remove toothmark from stems too. If so use cloth, not paper. Please show us the outcome :)

    What Does Latakia Taste Like

Smoky, buttery and sweet. My palette is not that refined, nor experienced. I smoke very little.

    Meerschaum - Don't Touch?

Not a clue, I was not there . But possibly will be in a few decades from now :) Meers are being waxed since the beginning of times and collectors have always been an odd bunch. As said, quality meers were expensive back in the days. Apart from all this I'm be no means a meer expert, but I much...
