    Dunhill Nightcap

Worst case I will try to make the West Coast Pipe show and try to score some there. Thanks for all the help!

    Dunhill Nightcap

I will grab some Ashton and give it a try but I don’t think I can go on living without trying this magical blend.

    Dunhill Nightcap

Blue: I saw that one and thats what prompted me to start asking on here. Mr. Churchwarden: That’s a good idea. I will start calling around to local places and then moving out of the state.

    Dunhill Nightcap

Hello everyone! I have heard of Nightcap and I want to try it. I have not been able to find it anywhere and I tried buying some from a post here but it was sold before I could get to it. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can get a tin to try. I know that the Dunhill Brands are going away...

    Brad Knaack Pipe

Hello, I listened to the podcast last week and was intrigued by Brad Knaack’s story and pipes. Does anyone know how I cam get a hold of him to buy one of his pipes?

    First sampling trip. Help!

Happy Sunday! So I am a boy of my word and made it to my local Pipe & Tobacco shop. I burned the place a bit but the brick wall stopped the fire. I went in and saw Tom (extremely friendly) and stuck my nose in some jars and wanted to get a small pouch of Buccaneer. Unfortunately, I forgot my...

    Denver Pipe Club

This may be a long shot... given the date this was posted, but does anyone still meet in or near Denver?

    First sampling trip. Help!

Thanks again for the input! I will definitely post a follow-up (hopefully with pictures) of this little adventure. I am very blessed (or cursed) to have a very nice shop located just 15 minutes (walking) from my house. I will let you know what I wind up trying and how it goes. Hopefully, and...

    First sampling trip. Help!

Good morning! (Again) The local shop where I purchased my first pipe/tobacco blend extended an invitation to sample some blends at their shop. My rule in visiting any local shop (bike, gun, book, etc) is to always purchase at least one item in exchange for their time, knowledge and assistance...

    Opinions on Churchwarden pipes...

Thanks for confirming my thoughts on it. I find them to be elegant pipes and in theory, they seem to be a great option for lounging around. I was curious to know if they smoked better/worse than a standard pipe. I will hold off on getting one (unless I find a smoking deal) (get it?). Thanks...

    Opinions on Churchwarden pipes...

Good morning, I was smoking my pipe last night and was thinking about life and the thought of trying to smoke a Churchwarden crossed my mind. I figured I would stir the pot and ask if God would prefer a Churchwarden or a nose warmer? Just kidding. In all seriousness, what are the thoughts on...

I want to smoke them all...

Thanks for the carefree input Bill! Like many other hobbies there are so many rules and etiquette which are often ridiculous. I invested in some pipes and don’t want to completely ruin them. I am just trying to find the balance between trying new blends and not ruining pipes.

    Greetings from Denver

Hello everyone, I am a new pipe smoker and have been stalking the site for a while and just joined last night! I have one pipe and a couple more on the way. I smoke a Rivendayle blend from my local shop and just bought my first Peterson Whiskey tin. In the next few months I want to try some new...

I want to smoke them all...

I am not a wealthy guy but I believe in “buying nice or buy it twice”. I found some great deals on ebay and have some excellent pipes (excellent to me) on the way. I look forward to getting into a decent rotation soon. Next step is meeting some local pipe smokers and see what they reccomend.

I want to smoke them all...

I have learned a bunch from “stalking” the forums and decided to join last night. I have a Peterson Whiskey Blend tin that I am going to work through next. I never thought of trying the separate “ingredients” to these blends I have read many reviews suggesting Virginias and Latakias so I will...

I want to smoke them all...

Thank you guys for the quick replies. I like the idea of having one pipe per “genre”. I have been all over ebay the past few weeks and have several pipes on the way from several lots.

I want to smoke them all...

Hello everyone! I am a new pipe smoker and have only smoked two different blends from my local shop. I was advised to not get a bunch of different blends and smoke them from the same pipe. I was told this was in an effort to “not confuse the pipe”. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions...
