I need some help to identify this pipe.
The stamp appears to be in a modern font. I wonder if it is a smaller known pipe maker. Might check the local area from where the pipe came. -

Wiping mouthpiece with wet wipes and sanitizer alcohol?
On a couple of estate pipes, I have gotten I used alcohol on the stems to clean them. Which really brought forth oxidation that was in the stems. I had to put a lot of work into rubbing out the oxidation after using alcohol on them. Just a heads up on that.- ARTOPUT

I don't think I would attempt a restore on the cracks myself. It appears that the cracks are dark colored from the long periods of use with the build-up of tobacco matter in the cracks. While working on my Virginia Blend in the shop
I get my hickory handles out of Arkansas buying them in bulk. I only do local shows here in north Idaho. I sell the standard kitchen broom for 28, but the price will most likely go up with fuel costs for farmers.- ARTOPUT

What is the best strike Matches you have found?

In comparison what I found is bigger dia sticks, heads of match larger with a non-chemical smell or taste to them, and a much longer burn time before running the length of the match. I think I found them. Compared to the diamond I have used for decades is a world of difference for pipe lighting. Swedish Match, Three Stars Safety Matches, found them on amazon- ARTOPUT
