What are You Watching? [2023] Please Rate 1-5

I just realized that I obviously can't follow directions as I didn't rate either of the movies I posted about. Bullet Train - 2 A Man Called Otto - 4

What are You Watching? [2023] Please Rate 1-5

We watched A Man Called Otto last night. It was well done. Has some hard scenes in regards to suicide and the main character's memories of his deceased wife. But the overarching theme of the importance of community was particularly valuable, esp. in this day of such disconnectedness and apathy...

    Recommended Glue Brand?

It didn’t snap off. Right - this is what happened, the tendon needs reinserted. I can’t get a pic right now because not with the pipe, but will try the epoxy option. Thanks for that suggestion.

What are You Watching? [2023] Please Rate 1-5

My wife wanted to see Bullet Train this weekend. Oh dear - two hours of my life I’ll never get back. There were a few funny moments, but not worth the effort.

Chat GPT's "Ode to a Castello Pipe" - (Written in 5 seconds)

I asked it to come up with a haiku to pipe smoking, and it responded with this: Fragrant tobacco, Softly glowing ember light, Peaceful solitude.

    Recommended Glue Brand?

Title edited for caps. Please show pictures. I have a Poul Winslow pipe that I’ve smoked for……at least 10 years and the stem insert connecting the stem to the pipe separated from the rest of the stem. Any suggestions on what type of glue to use? Will any super glue do fine, or is there specific...

Chat GPT's "Ode to a Castello Pipe" - (Written in 5 seconds)

I asked ChatGPT to write an ode to a Dunhill pipe to see how it might differ from what it gave to @richireland - Oh Dunhill pipe, with stem so fine You fill my soul with joy divine Your briar bowl, so smooth and cool Is like a sweet, sweet dream, a perfect jewel With every puff, you bring me...

There’s an investigation underway. Some in the media are already calling for the farmer who had recently plowed the field that was the source of the dust right next to the highway to face charges.

    Castello Sea Rock

I have ~25 pipes and my fav ones are all Castello sea rocks. They’re light weight and smoke great. What I love most is the acrylic stems with the large lip that ensures the pipe stays between your teeth in most any situation. I love to smoke them while working in my garage on some piece of wood...
