Peter Heinrichs Dark Strong Flake & Orlik Dark Strong Kentucky Review

Great review. You've inspired me to pick up some DSF. As a fan of licorice and Kentucky leaf, I find Orlik's DFK a bit flat and lacking in depth of flavor and strength.

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

A 50/50 split of Amphora's Kentucky and Burley blends in a Royal Danish 84. I find this to be a complimentary mix where one rounds out and adds a bit of body and depth to the other.

I'm very glad to know you enjoy Revor plug! I'm hoping that the good folks at Laudisi can make it available stateside through their relationship with Gawith Hoggarth.

    Hello from Brooklyn, NY!

I'm in Windsor Terrace. Would be great to link when we're able to freely socialize again. I actually have a couple of sweatshirts in the works that will be available. Very small run as I have to basically do them by hand. Sizes M and L. Look out for a post about them hopefully within the next...

What's a Good Licorice Flavored Aromatic?

I'm a big fan of the flavor of black licorice and find it very present in Esoterica's Ramsgate. But because it's so incredibly hard to find, I only enjoy one or two bowls of it every year. I love Irish Flake but don't really detect licorice flavor in it - same for Brown Flake Licorice...

Cutting Air Flow in Factory Cob Stem

Thanks for the info. Unfortunately I don't have a way to machine the tenon down of those stems. I did notice the message about the vulcanite Forever Stems being made available sometime but that note has been up there for over a year now I think.

Cutting Air Flow in Factory Cob Stem

I'd love to use vulcanite stems on my cobs. Which ones do you use and where'd you get them? Thanks.

    Experience with Synjeco's?

Thanks for the info. Do you wire funds to them for payment or give your AmEx # over the phone? Also, do you ever get tapped for duty and taxes when your tobacco arrives? I just got a bill from FedEx for taxes on a pipe I received from Italy recently.

Thanks for the input. Did you pay via wiretransfer? I've never done that before.
