New Meerschaum Owner - Any Info on this Pipe?

Appreciate the moisture info you guys - I don't think my tongue noticeably stuck to the inside of the bowl, so it's probably a composite -

Interesting! I'll give it a try. When you say "it sticks", are we talking a little resistance or it full on sticks like a frozen metal flag pole?

    Good Morning from Nashville, TN!

Thanks! Yep, they're the shops house brand. Admittedly, I'm ignorant on many of the major pipe manufacturers and how they typically smoke, but the Cayuga's I've bought and smoked are just fantastic. Smooth, beautiful and well priced for a handmade item. Highly recommend giving one a try if you...

For sure! Spot on about the NYC comment as well. That's hilarious about the Sam Elliot guy, I'll keep an eye out for him :)

Really appreciate everybody's insight and expertise! How can I tell between Turkish Block and Composite? It obviously says Turkish on the case but is extremely lightweight, or is that normal for meerschaum?

Very cool! I moved here from Michigan in 2012. I'm a session and touring guy mostly as well, looking forward the road opening back up soon!

Nice! Yep, it's a very cool city for sure. Definitely much more than country music as well, very musically diverse here!

Thanks Chris! If I had one piece of advice, I'd say to make sure you take your time with each bowl. I've never had greater discussions with friends or learned more on a spiritual level than when I'm slowing smoking a good pipe with good tobacco.

Settled on posting this post here instead of the "Pipe Smoking Basics & Beginner Questions", this seemed more appropriate, hope that's ok! I recently was given this never been smoked pipe from a friend. I'm curious as to it's quality, it seems extraordinarily lightweight for such a large pipe...

    Your First Pipe?

My first pipe was a Willard Aristomatic. Was helping my Grandpa clean out his house as a kid, found the pipe and asked if I could have it. He said "Sure, as long as you don't smoke it!" I miss that man dearly.

    Good Morning from Nashville, TN!

Hello all! I'm brand new to this forum, though I've been pipe smoking for 13 years or so. I'm a musician living in Nashville, TN but am from the Flint, MI area originally. Love me some Paul's Pipe Shop house blends and a Spaniola made Cayuga pipe!
