***What Are You Smoking, June 2021?***

For the first time in months I've sat down for a bowl, been so busy I haven't had the time. I'm SO relaxed right now, sitting outside on my deck, a to do list a million miles long. I forgot how calming it is to just sit and smoke a bowl; being forced to wait it out. I've missed this so...

4Noggins, The New Pipes & Cigars

I ordered one from them in the last 6 months, took a little while but I live in Canada, no issues, I prefer the new management's website revision that's for sure. They've always been my main vendor, never had an issue. But I will say the service I've had from Country Squire is second to...

***What Are You Smoking, November 2020?***

The very first bowl smoked in my brand new, yet repaired, Brigham Algonquin. Presbyterian.

    Underrated Factory Pipes / Brands

As someone already mentioned, I don't think Grabow is underrated, if anything their praise is excessive haha. They are well respected here, as are cobs. My answer is Brigham, I have four of them. You can get a brand new Brigham for $40 in the u.s, and of course they go higher and higher...

My Refurbished Gross Broken Brigham Like New!

Some of you might remember my brand new Brigham I bought off ebay that came gross and cracked. I was refunded by ebay, but the pipe was abandoned with me. So I eventually decided to send it to DadsPipes out of Ontario, he did an incredible job, it looks better than i thought it ever would...

    Father The Flame Movie

Maybe it's because I waited anxiously for years for this documentary to finally come out, I think I donated to the cause even, but I was underwhelmed by it after finally watching it. It was still interesting definitely, but it doesn't help that I have no interest in artisan pipes. Not sure...

She Would Have Been 46 Today

I cannot imagine, I'm so sorry. I'm haunted by the fear of death these days; losing my son, wife, or me leaving them fatherless/husbandless. I hope you have found some degree of healing.

What Are You Listening To ~ Oct. 2020

Been listening to a lot of metal again recently, a lot of Mastodon, Extol, Megadeth. Also been listening to the Killers a lot again, such melodic and catchy indie rock.

Are Any Of You Guys As Traditional As Myself?

I like traditional pipes, billiards, dublins, apples etc. I am very off put by any artisan and funky shape.

Am I A Shmuck For Preferring Corn Cobs?

I have a couple cobs and I love them, one of them, without knowing at first, has pretty well only had Half & Half smoked in it, and a little W.Ø Larson, so it seems now I get a lot of good flavour out of H&H when using that one. Their just great pipes, smoke great, are cheap and very low...

***What Are You Smoking, October 2020?***

Some Half & Half in my Brigham bent apple, only the second bowl in it. Tasting much better than the first bowl.

***What Are You Smoking, October 2020?***

Man I want to try that stuff, I might have to throw a tin in next order. Does it smoke hot/bite?

    Will Presbyterian Change?

I tried it for the first time last night, I've never had it before and the tin i opened was the new Mac Baren. I enjoyed it, tasted like a good English should. But like I said, I have nothing to compare it to, but it was certainly a good tobacco. Good posts here, a tobacco can never be...

I've still never tried 5 Brothers.

***What Are You Smoking, October 2020?***

Enjoying some Presbyterian for the very first time. I'm glad I bought two tins, it's nothing out of the ordinary, simply a good English with a stronger Latakia presence than I was lead to believe. Smoking it in a Brigham Algonquin #247.

    OK...I Get It Now.

The first English i had was a Brebbia blend that I can't find, or they changed the tin art completely or something. I didn't even know what Latakia was, this was early on in my pipe smoking. The tin note was alarming, and the taste was even more alarming lol I tried again I think a few...

If You Haven't Tried Chatham Manor, Are You Even A Piper?

I doubt I'll try it as ordering from pipes and cigars is too risky for duties for me in Canada. Plus, though I like the taste, Carter Hall and Prince Albert both irritate the back of my throat for some odd reason, so I smoke Half & Half for my burley/codger fix, doesn't bother my throat.

King Of The Hill Appreciation Thread

The episode where Hank makes Bobby smoke a carton of smokes but then they all just get addicted, man that's a gut buster.

    What's Good Comedy to You

I like comedy that doesn't walk on eggshells about offending someone like so much does now. Im not really a fan of comedians that rely on sex as their main bit personally. I really like comedians like Jim Gaffigan.

    Elvis Presley’s Pipe

I'm cousins with Elvis through marriage, true story. My wife's great great great great grandpa (maybe more greats, can't remember) and his great great great grandpa were brothers. I'm basically famous.
