New Meer Shopping - Asking Too Much?

I want to buy my first meerschaum. I just had to return a new Paycok because the stem was drilled off center, and it used a very small plastic tenon into a plastic mortise insert which resulted in a poor draw. But the biggest thing was I was unable to pass a pipe cleaner through it without...

    Resting Corn Cob Pipes

So different caliber barrel brushes? I suppose if they don't fit at first, they will after a couple of uses. LOL I might try some in the appropriate pipe. Just curious, is there a downside to having the draft hole a little oversized if you get too zealous?

    Resting Corn Cob Pipes

Good point @anotherbob! Once I get an actual rotation down and have enough pipes to rest, I might not have to clean the living bejesus out of them to keep them tasting good.

    Resting Corn Cob Pipes

    Resting Corn Cob Pipes

    Resting Corn Cob Pipes

Well, just getting back into it and over the past year have smoked maybe 70 different blends, I am finally nailing my rotation down. BUT, I really found out by trial and error (and the hard way) that you really DO need to rest your briars. I have a Meer on the way for further "smoke offs" of...

    Hello From N.W. Arkansas

Title edited: spelled out Arkansas for those who don't understand NWA right away. Dusted off my collection and back in the never ending hunt for the ultimate pipe tobaccos. Got side tracked for a few years by the allure of vaping. Moved to a new house with a suitable covered patio, so back...

    "Styles" of English Blends

First post. In researching English blends, are there a few "styles" that blenders try to land in? What would be the prototype in production product that best defines each of these "styles?" Hope my question makes sense.
