***What Are You Smoking, June 2021?***

No, it's a bit broken on the stem end and there's a slight chip on the bowl but honestly what's really stopped me is figuring out what kind of tobacco to put in a pipe of that age. I'm enjoying some Bengal Slices White in a new Calabash(ish) style pipe created by Ryan Ford, who runs "The Smoking Briar" ETSY shop. It's a pretty pipe and a great smoker from a very talented artist!

Smoking some G.L. Pease JackKnife Plus in the Rossi Rubino Antico 8677 KS Bent Billiard gifted by my lovely wife. The clay pipe in the back was made by Thomas Hopkins, who was an apprentice of Francis Brian, a master pipe maker in Worcester England. This pipe is estimated to have been made...

***What Are You Smoking, May 2021?***

I've tried the Kentucky Fire Cured Swamp Thang and I felt the same way, other than the sweetness of the Candela wrapper, which I don't usually care for, but Drew Estate managed to pull off well.

After going to a local cigar bar (Rocco's Cigar Bar in Wilmington, N.C.) and sharing a Herrera Esteli cigar, as well as some beers, with my lovely wife I am now back at home enjoying Seattle Pipe Club's Plum Pudding Special Reserve Flake in my Rossi Vittoria author. What a wonderful Sunday!

Is anyone aware of a pipe club in the Wilmington N.C. area? If not, would there be any interest in one?

Not to parrot everyone else, but I get a really pleasant apricot smell, with maybe a hint of peach (at least that's what my nose detects). It really is one of the best tin notes out there.
