B&M Tobacco Prices - Observational
He probably did. The fed collects their tax up front when the tobacco is shipped to the store. Unlike other retail where they collect the tax when an item is sold. Tobacco is paid up front.- spartacus

MI has a 32% state tax added to Pipe Tobacco as well as a .18 an ounce Fed tax.- spartacus

Do You Buy In Bulk Over Tins When Available?
Bulk whenever it is available then break it down into 6 to 8 oz jars. When I first started I was putting 1 to 2 pounds of tobacco in the same jar. I still haven't put them in smaller jars. Lazy I guess or I just like the way all 1/2 gallon jars look lined up.- spartacus
