    Well said. STG has ruined SWR (how hard is it to just keep doing the same thing that’s worked for 90+ years) so my hopes are not high. The bean counters are in charge, not the consumer, nor aficionados that know what the people want working within the organization most likely.

    Haven’t experienced that with BCF. I wish it was more stronger scented with the cocoa like it was until GH changed it up.

    I think shutting down any bulk producer that many blend houses and shops use as their primary mixers would be pretty dumb. Fingers crossed this won’t be an extinction level event.

    After the hurricane clobbered the mountains of NC and TN, I noticed one interesting fact at Ingles where pipe tobacco was sold. All tubs of SWR/SWRA were sold OUT and everything else was left.

    Welcome! You need to try it all, and then try it all again in 6mos once you get your technique down. I liked the Grabow paper filters and now use 9mm charcoal exclusively. For ME (i make no other claims for individuals) I still get taste, without the tar or moisture. YMMV, good luck.
