    RRS Magnum Bent Mystery

Oh sorry; saw it's 1910. I was looking in the 1910 tobacconist directory (UK) and didn't find anything obvious.

    RRS Magnum Bent Mystery

Can't find a relevant address. What date is the hallmark (noting that it's a repair)?

    RRS Magnum Bent Mystery

They definitely had multiple shops - I'll see if I can find a likely address.

More Stirling Flake in a Chacom

    Show Off Your Petersons Here!

Haven't seen the 2017s, but there are still 2016s and 2018s around. I think English pipe smokers are a bit more staid than our US counterparts! Special edition or small batch tobaccos never seem to do very well here as far as I can tell.

Interesting Completed Ebay Auctions - British Pipes

Rather disappointed that I forgot about it!

Not exactly 'old' Britwood, but someone got a bargain. Completely forgot this listing was ending: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/126475193925

    What are You Reading Now?

I think it could so easily (sadly) have become a 'culture wars' thing. I'm really impressed with the way he talks about it, not criticising Twain for how Jim is written in the original novel.

    What are You Reading Now?

I'm really curious to read this. Have read some great reviews and heard an interesting interview with him.

There's Nothing Like a Good Hard Shag

I think I had DBE a long time ago, but can't remember it. I have some Kendal Dark from about 10 years ago, and it's definitely just Virginia, definitely no dark fired. No idea what it's like now.

    What are You Reading Now?

I last read McCarthy when I was a teenager at university (The Road and No Country for Old Men). I'm intrigued to see what I make of him now.

Some Folk Really Shouldn’t be Allowed to Write Product Reviews.

Try finding the Veet Hair Removal Cream reviews, if they're still there...

There's Nothing Like a Good Hard Shag

I'll also recommend Penny Farthing, it's not very strong in nicotine as far as I remember. Pretty much average. Five Bros. is strong though.

There's Nothing Like a Good Hard Shag

That's what they were previously, but they've been homogenized into one ribbon-cut blend according to Rachel.

And for me the Barling motor dome exudes Edwardian style - I can absolutely picture someone motoring along with one (however poorly it would have functioned in reality). The above contraption... Less so.

    Show Us Your Falcons!

I don't really mind them, but there is also a huge amount of variation. I did go and dig some stems out after all! Far left is an early vulcanite stem model (thanks @simong ), next is I believe a very early one (but I can't remember where I found that out), next is a 60s British-made one, next...

    Show Us Your Falcons!

Whatever @condorlover1 says, you just can't deny the innate sex appeal of the humble Falcon. I can't be bothered to dig out all of mine. By their very nature they end up in rucksacks, coat pockets and in the shed. The great thing about Falcons is they're almost impossible to get a bad smoke...
