    Subj - do you reuse mason jars to store a different blend? I suppose glass doesn't absorb smell all that much, but I think the lid does - maybe the insulation ring. Do you replace lids? What about mylar bags - do they absorb smell?

    I actually started with codger blends! Velvet, Half & Half, and SWR (terrible vinegar taste!) were the first ones I had. But Englishes won me over pretty quickly.

    It's interesting that you say it didn't have a lot of flavor - for me, Latakia has A LOT of flavor, it's just different from what you find in aromatics. It has a very distinct smell as well. If you want to try out an English for cheap, I would say go for Match - they have matches for Nightcap...

    Now smoking Amphora Kentucky Blend in a Rossi Vittoria. I was surprised to see rubbed flake in a pouch. Compared to ODF, the fired Kentucky is much less pronounced; ODF could be a full bodied end of the day smoke, while this could be had mid-day.

    Now smoking G&H Mixture No 25 in my designated MM Country Gentleman. I would say this one is pretty mild for an English, Latakia is barely there, despite the Internet saying it contributes to 20%.
