This one arrives Monday. It's a large 1893 with Patent # stamps on the band, bowl and back of the stem. It has a really bad crack on the stem side of the bowl, and I'm 99% sure the silver rim is aftermarket to mask the crack and possibly other problems, but ... it's the only shot I'll ever have at a Pete that old, and I'm psyched to start working on it. I might even have a Patent case that fits it.

Paired 2 firsts together last night. Estate 2019 Peterson POTY I've had on my shelves for some time, so I gifted it to myself yesterday.
I like the look, hand-feel, stem, etc. of the pipe but I had a heck of a time trying to properly cooperate with this particular chamber dimension. I'm normally good with a 314 / 312 size of chamber but this one is sooo wide that it really functions differently for me. Not sure how to compensate for that yet...
