***What Are You Smoking, December 2025?***

I received this estate Peterson Junior rusticated short apple yesterday evening. Upon opening the box and marveling at how little this thing is, I thought there's no way it'll be a decent smoker.

Boy, was I wrong! It's a dandy, with a deceptively large chamber size - like an Escher painting!

Have a Sav Bing, But I don't consider its bowl to have a "generous capacity."

On the four earlier break-in smokes I had with Capt Black Dark, I was pulling about 90 minutes plus with a 3 pack fill on the Sav . . . . that's about all I really want from a pipe unless I'm listening to Parsifal, lol.

Had 4 larger bowl trench monsters. Hardly ever smoked em which is a shame. Kept 2 cuz they were gifts, and traded away the other two. I tend toward smaller pipes, preferring a smoke of about 35 - 40 minutes. Just me.

Did a little low calorie snacking and am smoking year 2020 D&R Penhooker in a 2015 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend tomato military mount with an aluminum accent, Woolly Mammoth horn ferrule, and cumberland p-lip stem.

What a beautiful pipe! I'll be on the lookout for that shape and size, for sure. Beautiful wood (and lots of it!) smaller bowl, perfect matching mount . . . . . You sure can pick 'em, sir! You've nailed my taste on this one!

I seem to be like a kid in a candy store lately . . . all that info in the Hacker and Dunhill boods have really opened my eyes. This pipe is elegance and simplicity rolled into one classic package - like Debussy's "Clair de Lune" played by a master . . . . beautiful!

Did a set of walking reps, and smoked a bowl of year 2016 D&R Three Sails in a slight bent black pattern etched 1977 Lorenzo Lorsan Sigma level top billiard with a gray swirl acrylic saddle stem. Tomato the Brave was at the door when I went to walk, so he came in and ate well. The others are outside.

Heading out for a walk to the meat market for a huge triple meat sandwich. The meer accompaniment today is an IMP full of OJK blue with coffee.

You must be the most enthusiastic smoker I've ever heard of, except my buddy Mike. He gets about 5 minutes from everything!!

Good day, all! Time for some English goodness: SG Squadron Leader in a Cavicchi. I have been debating how to describe it. The bowl looks like a Dublin to me but the shank and stem say Lovat. A pot of Harneys Irish Breakfast on the side. Sunny and about 50° F here in central Ohio.
