Enjoyed a tasty Snap Dragon apple, and am smoking the last of this tin of year 2013 Capstan Gold Flake in a straight black 1932 Dunhill R double patent shell pot with a vernon tenon and a tapered black vulcanite stem. I hope to end the day with this smoke. Going to enjoy quiet reading time as much as the cats let me.

Smoking some Sutliff Cringle Flake '23 in an Altinok poker. The beer on the side is a departure for me. Imperial stout with added peppermint and milk. Its actually tastier than I anticipated, but think it would pair better with an aro.

My astonishment emoji was for that confection you've been drinking. I was introduced, many years ago, to the notion of adding half a pint of milk to a half pint of Mackeson's stout. The idea struck me as revolting at first, but I found it quite a pleasant sort of mildly alcoholic, malty cafe-au-lait-looking breakfast beverage. But the addition of peppermint seems to me a step too far: doesn't it fight against the malt flavour? I'd want to add a little dried peppermint to a mild Viginia/Burley for a paired smoke, I think.
