This is all I've got.

It's such a great book it's tough to pick the best part. If pressed I'd say the chapter on the husband whose wife keeps giving him unsmokable cigars is my favorite. It still makes me laugh as much as I did the first time through.

The author is one of the most respected authorities on the subject. As an introduction to antique pipes , it is one of the best if not the best book you can find on the subject.

Probably chapter 5 - The Christmas Pipe in Poetry & Prose. The rest of the book is a bit of a history of Christmas tobaccos, Christmas-edition pipes, and Santa Claus's pipes over the years. The book, in general, reads more like a loose history of the relationship between pipe smoking and Christmas.
