Cherishing my sample of Briar Fox (courtesy of @Servant King) in the Peterson Dracula blasted 106, cafe au lait on the side. Finally feels like autumn here. This is the first week we have had our heat running, nice to get ahead of the propane bill for once 😁 puffy First time me and my wife have had a day off together in a while and we are getting ready to go to Tractor Supply, where I will pick up another case of mason jars. “No no this is not for new tobacco, this is for existing tobacco”, I’ll say…IMG_8133.jpeg

Starting off my smoking day with a bowl of year 2024 Edward G. Robinson's Pipe Blend in a 2014 Basil Meadows smooth slight bend squashed tomato with an aluminum band and a black pearl acrylic stem in the military mount style. Fed all the cats except for Molly Danger who was fed by m'lady. Ice water and bergs is my drink.

Decided to forage in the Cellar this morning to open a new tin for November. I
picked a Nov ‘21 G&H Rum Flake. First time smoking this blend.
My first few minutes of slowly sipping this leaves me hoping some time in the jar “decanting” might release more depth of flavor? Nice, smooth tobacco flavor- burley centric with a whisper of licorice. I was expecting more sweet or citrus from aged VA?
Strong dark Pu’erh tea accompanying.
