What do You Carry Your Pipes In?
I carry two pipes and 3 types of tobacco in an old SWR can == that stays in my camper. I carry my day pipe in my shirt pocket.... if not pocket I have a belt holster that carries it nicely. Tuck the tobacco pouch in my rear pocket.- wolfscout

shrugs. a pipe is a pipe. If it functions and you know how to use it -- it could be made out of bone as far as I'm concerned. Some of these posts about aesthetics and such to justify the stroking of ego because one purchased a higher end pipe. It just isn't that important. Doesn't matter...- wolfscout

Wife Doesn't Like Me Smoking
I'm very lucky my wife puffs as well. However, ... In public I have been approached by several women who requested that I stop smoking in public. My reply is always I will stop smoking in public when you quit wearing bras in public. Seems fair to me.- wolfscout

fixing a misfitting stem
I second a retort. I had a great old Italian pipe that had a stem that wouldn't go in. Fixed it very nicely. turned a great pipe into a terrific pipe.- wolfscout

Dr. Grabow Royalton from Amazon
I ordered a rustic Royalton when there was a thread saying they were going to stop making them in 2012. The very first thing I noticed was no Dr G spade on it. how sad. But it smoked really nice right from the first bowl. Feels great in the hand, perhaps I'll hunt up a smooth one to go with it. -
