    Just in from STG/MacBaren/Sutliff

Smoking pipes always have a listing for london burley, stockon, hh rustica and royal twist. Because they didn’t remove the listing, Its like it was planned to have them return at a certain point.

    Just in from STG/MacBaren/Sutliff

I wonder if its possible for Smoking Pipes to still organise the limited release MacBaren blends like they have been doing in recent years.

    Just in from STG/MacBaren/Sutliff

In Australia foods items like chocolate, lollies (candies) biscuits (cookies) drinks etc often get discontinued. But the public push back and protest demanding their return. So sometimes a product returns by “Popular Demand” and sometimes the original recipe returns due to popular demand and the...

    Best with Coffee...

I always have coffee with my pipe. The tobacco just doesn't tasted as good without coffee. puffy

    What kind of tobacco?

    Rim Charring

For cleaning. A slightly moistened magic eraser removes the char without removing the stain.

    Predicting The Future

If you sit on it for long enough it will turn into one giant 400lb crumble cake. Then the tobacco can crumble around you.

***What are You Smoking, April 2022?***

Just smoked a bowl of Murray's Dunhill Durbar in a Rustic Peterson System 303 Wow those old Dunhill blends had way more nicotine and the tobacco was deeper and richer and I'm sure it tasted like Syrian Latakia. Nirvana !!!

One Tobacco To Rule Them All

I would be happy with this one blend, the finest I've ever smoked - Thee Nuns - Made in England Pre 1990's I hunted for 10 years and managed to secure six tins. I'm at the end of one of the tins. Even the dried crumbs at the bottom of the tin are delicious (Sweet, Spicy and Rich) Even...

Help Needed: Dating Three Nuns Tin

Probably from the 80’s Made in the UK. Its the good stuff with perique and that unique three nuns aroma and flavour. I have smoked a tin of this and the earlier orange bordered solid brown tin. So delicious and rare that you would have to pass the lit pipe around for everyone to savour a puff at...

First Pipe Smoke in 40 Years

Try starting with something less bitey, Like Early Morning pipe, My Mixture 965, Sir Walter Raleigh Aromatic, Lanes 1Q or RLP-6 and as suggested sipping cools the smoke and brings out the flavor. Its not a competition to see who makes the most smoke.puffy -TimPiper

    Aromatic Discussion

Try Macbarens Original Choice. Very good flavour and aroma. Try packing the bowls of rlp-6 very lightly, this helps with blends smoked moist. I agree, some blends have more flavour smoked moist. Some have more flavour smoked drier. -TimPiper
