    Thanks for all this. Not sure about that guy though. Not sure about this either! Thought I'd have a go so very gently, and in stages, reemed out all that old gunge. (Images a bit out of sequence). It took a while and there were no more loses to the really badly shot bowl. The other was all good...

    I've this pair of cased, what were gorgeous, probably French GBD briar's with silver hallmarks for rare London imports. Unfortunately one bowl is completely burnt out and the other is choked with some losses around the top edge. Both have silver collars and what might be horn shafts. So what...
