Washington Smoking Laws: Advice for Enjoying a Smoke?

Hello! Haven't had a chance to get out to Orcas yet, but I hear it is beautiful. Currently in Bellingham. The laws as I have read them state that smoking anywhere in public that isn't a designated smoking area is prohibited.

Washington Smoking Laws: Advice for Enjoying a Smoke?

Thanks for the recommendation! I'm a little too far north to be a regular, but I'll have to check it out.

Washington Smoking Laws: Advice for Enjoying a Smoke?

Not sure this is the exact right place to put this, but I'm hoping to find some advice. I recently moved to the west side of Washington, fairly close to the Canadian border. My town has passed even more extensive "no smoking in public" laws than the normal state laws, and It has made it nearly...

    Air hole drilled too far

My replacement Peterson got here today. This new 606 still has a slight indent from the hole being drilled to far, and it has a strange blue/grey substance that looks like filler on part of the pipe. That being said, I am just going to love this pipe as is! It is an improvement on the last one...

    Rusticated Peterson Question

I am glad I learned the difference between sandblasting and rustication in this thread, thanks all! This pipe ended up having a bigger problem, so it has been sent back, and I am awaiting a new one. The person drilling the air hole went too far and gouged the opposing wall inside the bowl...

    Air hole drilled too far

The website I purchased from said I could return the pipe for inspection, and if they deem it a manufacturer's defect, they would replace the pipe or refund my money. They presented this like it was a manager being courteous when in reality, it is their website's policy, so I'm not sure what my...

    Air hole drilled too far

This was a brand-new pipe. I couldn't find anyone online that had this problem before, so I'm glad there is a forum to post about these kinds of things.

    Air hole drilled too far

Here is a picture of what I was talking about. I will reach out to Peterson and see what they can do!

    Air hole drilled too far

I just smoked my Peterson 606 harp for the first time today and it was great! When cleaning out the bowl, I noticed that the airflow hole had been drilled across the bottom of the pipe, and into the far side of the bowl. There is only about a millimeter hole in the bottom wall of the bowl, but I...

    Rusticated Peterson Question

Thank you all so much! I was having a hard time finding a thread about this. I think I will embrace it as a unique feature. Very excited to give it a smoke!

    Rusticated Peterson Question

Hello everyone, I just purchased my first Peterson online, and it finally arrived. I have been partial to a smooth finish but decided to try out a rusticated finish. When examining my new 606 Harp, I noticed that one side of the bowl near the top seemed to have a flat edge, but it seems like the...

    Hello From Washington

Hello everyone, I have been smoking a pipe for about a year now and have fallen in love with it. There is nothing more relaxing than lighting an evening pipe. I started out with a no-name briar from a local shop and have expanded to a Savinelli 621 and a corncob for a regular rotation. I just...
