    Cherry=NO!

@Scrapyard Ape your aversion to cherry blends is understandable, but even more so with the roach backstory! It's definitely a polarizing flavor, without much middle ground. I myself have tried a handful of them, mostly a one-and-done romp in the PG, like CAO Cherrybomb for example. However, I...

    I’m done with post-2009 Stanwell

Agreed. But this is no surprise; quality control has been slipping in all areas of commerce for some time now. No reason to think pipes are somehow exempted from this trend. Hopefully you get the kind of customer service from the vendor that makes up for it, at least a little bit.

    In Germany Over Holidays

Injure many over holidays? Well, I might have to drink excessively for that to happen, but I'll try anything once. Next year for sure!

A Festivus For The Rest Of Us

An excerpt from Mike Maloney's The Great Gold & Silver Rush of the 21st Century: "So now let's add it all up to try to estimate just how much currency could come chasing gold and silver...versus 1980, today we have: -18 times more people around the world that can buy precious metals -55 times...

What're You Smoking This Holiday Season?

Weather permitting, I've mostly been on a tour of the various English and Balkan blends I've got cellared, alternated with some heavier aromatics. Which is pretty much standard for me at this time of year. Sprinkled in there are some burley-forward blends, and my favorite latakia aromatic, Mac...

A Festivus For The Rest Of Us

No grain of salt necessary. It's entirely plausible. The futures market is the point of origin when it comes to price suppression of both metals. So it makes sense that this is precisely where the swindle will begin to unravel. It's also in alignment with basically everything that those in the...

***What Are You Smoking, December 2025?***

First smoke in nearly a week was Presbyterian in a MM Dagner Poker. A nice reward for a surprisingly minimal cleanup following this epic rainstorm that is still not done yet. Of course, watching silver flirt with $80/oz. at the weekly market closing was reward enough. 9/10 Bird report: Mountain...

A Festivus For The Rest Of Us

You ain't kiddin'. Up better than 10% on the day...never could've guessed it'd flirt with 80 down the stretch. What a finish! And gold not too shabby either, holding nicely at 45. 4k is the new floor there. Only question is when it'll pass Bitcoin as they effectively trade places. Again, I'm...

PS Bullseye Flake. What a Difference a Year Makes.

Fair enough. I'd probably give one of my Flake Medallion tins a try first anyway, but I'll see what happens to the Bullseye over time. Worst case scenario I've got some solid trade fodder.

A Festivus For The Rest Of Us

It'd have to get well into triple digits before I'd even entertain the idea, much less actually pull the trigger. What blows my mind is the 58.4 G/S ratio. I can't even remember the last time it was below 60. Got up to 112 or so during the Covid moment. Unreal!

PS Bullseye Flake. What a Difference a Year Makes.

Reviving this thread, mainly because I've got a batch of LBF that I jarred right around this time, late '22. I'm here at the three year mark, and now I reallllllly want to try it. Knowing my penchant for indecision (not to mention my OCD), I'll be going back and forth about it until it's closer...

    Minimal Happiness Requirements?

Top ramen's a little bitey right out of the package. Cube cut it and that goes away. The chicken flavor tends to fade in the last 3rd of the bowl though... puffy
