    Apex/Raleigh NC Must-Visit B&M’s?

You have 2 different JR's within about the same drive time . 40West near Graham/Mebane and then the one off 95 in Smithfield. They are predominantly cigar but carry some pipe tobaccos from Mac Baren, CAO, Half n Half, Sutliff, Erin Moore etc. also some OTC offerings. The smoking area is...

    Drying Tobacco in 100% Humidity

I leave a tin of the more moist tobacco on top of my internet router. Its a constant source of low heat and moving air. No risk of "baking" .

    Too Many Drive Like You-know-what.

@jpmcwjr - You mean like catalytic converters, seat belts, helmets? We already jumped that shark long ago. I agree with you on less regs. I wasn't really thinking of it on the regulation side I was thinking more adaptation via manufacturers. You know like how all new mid size trucks have the...

    Too Many Drive Like You-know-what.

Make standard.....standard. Here is the states people don't remember that it was called a standard because thats what the vehicle came with. Automatics had to be ordered.

    Too Many Drive Like You-know-what.

As a fuel haul truck driver that runs NC,SC and occasionally Virginia..... .all I can do is nod my head in agreement to most observations so far listed. Then laugh at the thought of one of y'all going on a ride along with a trucker. I've seen everything from a Lambo pin balling itself off a...

    Have You Found "Your Blend"?

Kind of in your same boat. However right now I am enjoying P&C's Best of the Rest https://www.pipesandcigars.com/p/best-of-the-rest-pipe-tobacco-pipe-tobacco/1475880/#p-2000107 Aro version. It is a different experience of taste each time but has yet to disappoint. I've got plenty for now but...

    People Who Correct You Incorrectly

"I forgot you know everything" That's when you gently remind them that because they keep forgetting is why you have to keep correcting their corrections. 🤔

    Rice

Uncle Bens Basmati Rice pouch, a pack of tuna, a pat of butter, and some Slap yo Mama (edit: the seasoning y'all :ROFLMAO:)...... yummm. 3 min. Lunch that gets ya through the day. Seriously expected some Honda jokes......disappointed.

    Are You Country or City?

Country for me . I've lived in cities. Too much concrete and buildings, cuts out my natural compass. Lived near Houston for 2 years too long. Had to count streets and houses every day to make sure I made it home. Everything looks the same and crammed into small spaces. I get lost easily in...

Any clubs in the Raleigh, NC area?

Starting clubs...not that hard, maintaining and organizing for the long haul- bigger beast. I'd become part of one if there was one but my schedule doesn't allow much for practical schedule at popular times.

    Local B&Ms

One thing that sucks about my job. I drive by places like that and even SmokingPipes but can't visit because it's 2 in the morning and I am hauling fuel. One of these days I am going to have to make a road trip on my day off. I just have a hard time spending my days off doing more driving.

    Local B&Ms

I appreciate the offer. That was months ago and the money got re allocated to something else.

    Local B&Ms

I could appreciate that if it weren't for their online store they also have. The guys that are in there are about my age running between 30's and 50's. When I did visit the gentleman behind the counter mentioned the online store but also stated they don't (for whatever reason) list their...
