PSA: Check Your Hearth & Home 8 oz Tins For Rust.
I just had that happen with 3 out of 10 of these newly acquired 2003/2004 GL Pease tins. Rust was on the inside of the can along the seam and the tobacco totally dried out and off-smelling. Luckily I got them for a steal and both cans of Bohemian Scandal were still in perfect condition.- Perimeter_Road

The guy who sold it to me warned me that it tastes horrible and is an absolute nicotine bomb. I haven’t had a chance to find out myself yet. I’ll report back the results when I do. I’m thinking it needs to be blended or stoved or cased (or all three) to resemble the tobaccos we are accustomed to.- Perimeter_Road
