It's always a good idea to have water nearby when you're burning stuff! Even with a pipe, sometimes an ember will fall and if I'm getting ready to leave or sleep I'll just pour a bit of water on it to be (more) sure! Fire gets out of control fast!- Osirus

Aging tobacco in my own lifespan
Interesting point about sometimes blends are better fresh- not aged. Is there then any way to "prevent" aging while cellaring, so that nothing really changes? Packing jars really full and tight, vacuum sealing? Or at least minimize it? As I start to buy more tobacco for later of my favorite...- Osirus

This is a Bit Extreme.
As a recovering alcoholic who has destroyed their life several times with alcohol, it's really amazing how alcohol avoids all the negative attention! I keep some of my goopy aromatics in the bail-top jars and it also has allowed them to dry out a bit over the course of months. I don't think they seal as airtight as the 2-piece lids.- Osirus

Glass Skull Mason Jars
That's a cool idea! I actually had ordered a colored/iridescent one first for more ($15) but read the paint sometimes chips and smells- not something desirable for tobacco storage. So I have this one for display and the clear ones for useable storage.- Osirus

Thank you, and yes, I agree he did an amazing job with the skull's expression. He has several skull designs and I liked how he made it look sad yet accurate. So glad I went with the yellow stem, I even messaged him asking if he could do black instead. Now I just need to find a good blend...
