    Straight billiard group 3 army mount. Only markings on the sterling silver sleeve. These were made in the late 60´s. I like the older style sandblasting, which is evident. A small, lightweight, practical and very good pipe.

    I`ve always had a hangup for straight grain. Until I saw this one. An amazing amount of incredible birdseye, covering the flanks and the shank. Peterson 1979 billiard shape 6 gold spigot.

    Agreed. I've seen that also other Dunhill pipes with gold or silver spigot from that time period has the same type of ferrules wich partially covers the markings. The Dunills are 100% handmade though. https://ljperetti.com/product/dunhill-shell-109/

    Very unlikely an aftermarket AD stamped ferrule. It would also be very strange on a pipe that in its entirety appears brand new.
