    Just a Couple Beginner Questions...

Most everything you asked has been answered how I would answer. But my $.02 on briars vs cobs- they do have different tastes. I believe that the cob brings a light grassy sweetness to the smoke, a “corniness“ if you will. I prefer cobs for many aromatics because of this. Also the obvious...

    My Lakeland Haunting Story

I have a semi-recently acquired estate that has absolutely no essence of Lakeland to it whatsoever, until the tobacco burns down to the bottom 1/4 of the chamber. Then anything, and I mean anything, tastes of rose geranium. It’s reamed to bare wood. I’ve alcohol and cotton soaked it, used coffee...

10-4. I was joking too, so we’re clear. “It’s all good” as the kids say. I do really like the new Relief Grains, you’d think that there’d be more available out there based on the quantity of pipes produced by Kaywoodie. AK's Monthly-ish N00btastic Novella Review: GH Bob's Chocolate Flake

Yes, I concur that it is a lot more traditionally Lakeland than Bobs chocolate. I think the windex notes are rose geranium mixing with the chocolate and tonquin-like vanilla. But it’s quite good, and definitely scratches that itch.

    AK's Monthly-ish N00btastic Novella Review: GH Bob's Chocolate Flake

I know you didn't ask me, Daniel, but I'll offer my $.02- I really like Square Cut. I was initially taken aback by the "Windexey-ness" of the tin note, but then fired it up and was greeted with a nice mild chocolatey/vanilla top note on a quality VaBur, with a bit of Camphor and florals wafting...
