Jim's C&D Fires in the Levee Flake (Small Batch) Review.

Ok, scored my 5 tins of Levee. Hopefully no new tobacco purchases until '26?

Jim's C&D Fires in the Levee Flake (Small Batch) Review.

Sounds enticing, and since I missed Pease's Jubilee, I may have to try and score a few. Boy, with all these "late in the year "small batch releases, I'll have to watch myself in early "26. I'm glad I sold some tobacco recently.

Which no longer produced tobacco blend do you or will you miss the most?

Less, plus dropping the moniker Light. In addition, this tin was a Murray's production.

    New Samuel Gawith tins

I always like the SG tins from way back, easy to stick in your pocket ,etc. Recently I opened a 10 or old tin SG St. James Flake, and while not dry or molded, it didn't taste right, maybe a bad tin? Storing in a jar or mylar, maybe. I'll take my chances with the new tins.

    Nova Pipe & Tobacco

A top shelf operation, plus I like the fact that he's in Virginia, and I don't have to pay the stupid excise tax that Virginia implemented some time back from other retailers.

Show Us Your Comoy's (Collectors Thread)

Recent acquisition, a Royal Comoys, circa 40's-50's, from my research. It has a replacement stem, and the shape # is 342, about a group 5, and no stinger, plus it's a US Patent. Looks like a flake pipe.

What is your Favorite Christmas Blend?

Not really an aro-man, but when it's frosty out, I may reach for some Bothy Flake. Not exactly a Christmas theme, but with tobacco and booze, it's close.

Why Is HU Directors Cut More Expensive Than Other HU Tobacco Blends?

Interesting observations all, could be production, et al. I recently finished a tin of Directors cut, and it was a treat. Not sure of previous versions, but the one I completed was enjoyable. I have no problem with the price point.

    Opening A Tin? Show Us!

Directors cut, yes it's new. The presentation reminds me of Peter Heinrichs special curly. With that being said, they smell nothing alike. Yes, I will be dancing a flame above this sublime smelling mixture directly 😋.
