It's a Mocca 5241.... I have looked at everything smoking pipes has and nothing I see is similar. I'm still pondering my choices. I have a 5268 bulldog also and it too had a loose tenon. Beeswax helped that one.- InWithBothFeet

Broke my Vauen
The bit has always been loose on this and has been getting worse, so I did the trick of heating the tenon to enlarge it a bit. That shrunk it further, so I proceeded to incrementally insert a drill bit into the tenon 1/64" at a time while hot. That worked fantastically and the bit was finally...- InWithBothFeet

Have you ever thrown out a pipe?
Yep, tossed an ebay lovat that was a lot smaller than I thought it was. I tend to go through purge cycles where I go 'Why am I holding onto that?" The lovat didn't make it to an unscheduled purge. It got its own personal one.- InWithBothFeet

Partial Bowl
The tobacco at the bottom acts somewhat as as filter for the tobacco burning on top... have you found that the taste changes with removal of that bottom filter? Maybe leave that bottom half bowl for a session or two and refill and replace the top half. Kinda like using a carbon filter for 2 or...- InWithBothFeet
