    Quiet Nights vs. Chelsea Morning

Chelsea Morning is my only true regular smoke. Go through two 8oz tins a year and smoke it every morning. It's the only blend I would buy a lot of if it was going away.

    Peterson 160th Anniversary Released

Same! I was getting some Chelsea Morning when the email dropped. Almost splurged on a PSB, but there was the nice regular sandblast available. Nice pipe!

    Peterson 160th Anniversary Released

Anybody getting one of these? I settled for a straight sandblast (pic below), but the sets look great. Looks like they come in a few finishes, and in a straight and bent version. Here is the description from SP: Peterson commemorates 160 years of pipe making with a landmark release: the...

    What Were Your Go-To Tobacco’s in 2025?

Every morning is Chelsea Morning, but after that I've been reaching most for BriarWorks Smokehouse, HU Louisiana Broken Flake, and (now that it's cooler) 1792.

***What Are You Smoking, December 2025?***

Some Mahogany in the Bones. Very nice tobacco; like 1792 lite.

Which no longer produced tobacco blend do you or will you miss the most?

I don't feel like I've lost anything that I couldn't find a replacement for. I thought it would be bad without London Mixture, but GLP Westminster has it covered. I wasn't a big McC or Sutliff fan so I'm good with the tins still in the cellar. Truth be told, I'd be good moving forward with...

    Outside Smoke Versus Inside Smoke

I hate smoking inside; stinks up my house, my clothes, and I breathe the second hand smoke. Regardless of any perceived flavor difference, I only smoke outside in a well ventilated spot (usually my open garage) or back deck.

The "original" Devil's Anse Pipe? (From The Mini Series)

So the original was basically a cutty with the stem removed? Interesting. I’m good with the Moonshine versions of these pipes, though at one point, P&C had some Baraccini pipes for super cheap that were essentially the same style.

Popular Blends That Hit Your Blind Spot?

Definitely Haunted Bookshop. I love most of the Dunhill blends, so it caught me by surprise that I did not like 965. I also do not care for most of the SPC blends.

    SP C&D 20% sale started

Not a big fan. I can smoke Bayou Morning and maybe Rajah's Court or Sunset Harbor, but that's about it.
