    Anse Hatfield’s REAL pipe?

    I’ve seen many nice renditions of the “Devil Anse” pipe as smoked by Kevin Costner on screen, but I haven’t been able to find any photos of Anse himself with a pipe. Have any of you seen one?

    When it comes to cleaning a clay pipe, most options recommend heat such as the oven on self-clean most or even putting the pipe in hot coals. Any recommendations for a Peterson clay that has a metal band at the end of the shank? Thanks, Tim
