When I read tobacco reviews, words like grassy, hay, leather, fruity, figs, raisins, spicy, earthy, and many others are often used in a single description of a blend. EDIT: Fixed Capitalization in Title (See Rule 9) I'm shopping around for reed/bamboo stems for some old Civil War-era Pamplin pipes. Does anyone know the approximate diameter stems they would use? Thanks! Tim -

Anse Hatfield’s REAL pipe?
I’ve seen many nice renditions of the “Devil Anse” pipe as smoked by Kevin Costner on screen, but I haven’t been able to find any photos of Anse himself with a pipe. Have any of you seen one?- diverdoc

Cleaning Peterson Clay?
When it comes to cleaning a clay pipe, most options recommend heat such as the oven on self-clean most or even putting the pipe in hot coals. Any recommendations for a Peterson clay that has a metal band at the end of the shank? Thanks, Tim- diverdoc
