I have two Pete meers, and I don't believe either have the traditional stamping on them. With the meer carving outsourced to another company, it's possible incorrect ferules were placed, or mis (not) stamped, during assembly at the Pete factory. But it's just a thought. Why are estate pipes ok?
Personally, the only things that keep me away from an estate pipe is oxidization and tooth marks. If a pipe is free of those, and I like the look, I'll give it a go. That being said, I have never had the luck at antique stores that others seem to have. Most every pipe I see in the wild looks...- DIngobuzz269

Peterson Christmas Pipe Release
I've picked up their Christmas pipes ever since I started smoking in 2020. Not this year. Very underwhelming. Which is great, saves the wallet, especially since SP took away the Peterson 10% discount.- DIngobuzz269
