    Condor and St Bruno quality

amphora is one of my favourite blends, i never tried the original but I tried it when it was under imperial tobacco ownership and I have to say mac baren did a sterling job creating it's version.

    Somethings Up With Condor Plug!

condorlover1, i emailed the manufacturers of condor some months ago as I too noticed the ready rubbed had gone very much downhill, i found it tasted like mud and the famous condor essence had almost dissapeared. condors manufacturers emailed me back and told me the entire range of condor was now...

    2 Baccyflaps in 3 Months.

they are great little things, it keeps my tobacco in great condition for well over a week. I don't know what it is but I think baccy flaps, zippos and of course a good pipe and tobacco is just epitome of this fine past time.

    Condor and St Bruno quality

I mentioned this on another forum i occasionally partake in. I was an avid condor smoker for 6 years, but the last year or two co for has steadily gone down hill, to the point now I have waved it good bye and won't smoke it no more, given the UK's prices, life is too short for poor expensive...

    Pipe Smokings Biggest Downside..

When you are sipping a bowl of your favourite tobacco, loving every cool and flavourful draw, you tap out the ash as you realise it's getting much, and when you look in the bowl there's nothing left! And you can't refill up and have another as you have work in an hour..... Edit: Capitalized all...

    Falcon meerschaum lined bowls.

Excellent point. As I see it if you really desire a meer lined bowl, go with a genoa or the classic lines as if you go with say a bulldog, you are just paying for a narrower chamber and a shorter smoke with really, as I see it, not much benefit at all.

    Falcon meerschaum lined bowls.

So after seeing that these bowls were quite the love or hate thing, and I own most falcon bowl shapes, I thought why not pull the trigger and get a meer lined one. Are they any good though? First off is the bowl size, they are normal sized falcon bowls with a 4mm thick lining of meerschaum, now...

    Shed musings

Good discussions here gentlemen. As I don't live far from the lake district (maybe an 2 hours drive maybe a little less), I have tried a few of their tobaccos. Like I said, personally I think condor and the likes of ennerdale are similar, but similar in the way of distant cousins rather than...

To be honest, I don't think lakelands are soapy, maybe it's just me?
