A high price to pay for something which is probably garbled nonsense, considering we have 112+ pages of garbled nonsense in this thread for free.
I hope tomorrow (Monday) will be a good day for those who are still waiting for Santa to find their mailbox.

Ok, so I've been waiting to post this and this seems to be as good a spot and time as any, given the generosity and Christmas spirit of this thread.
Not only was I waiting 'til Christmas morning to open my Secret Santa gift, but I was also waiting to open a package sent to me by @ashdigger.
I had been interested in pre-republic Peterson pipes for a considerable time. However, due to one thing or another, I was never able to pull the trigger on one.
Well, lo and behold, back in November, Veterans Day, specifically, Tim had the pre-republic 307 (on the right) for sale. It was a great price but I was in a financial hold due to the U.S. government shutdown. I messaged Tim and he made me an offer I couldn't refuse. I was floored. I'll leave it at that.
As if that wasn't enough, he messaged me and said he was going to include something else in the package. That something was the pre-republic 308 (on the left). I was floored before, so I don't really have the words to say how I felt about this newest development.
All I can say is that I am thankful beyond words. I am thankful to @ashdigger for his generosity and I am thankful for the generosity and spirit of Som Besths shown by you all during this PMSS 2025 season. I am thankful to be part of this dysfunctional pipe-smoking family!
