Merry Christmas to one and all!

2025 USA Christmas Tree Story & travel
Merry Christmas to all my friends and acquaintances here on the forum. As you can imagine, today marks the end of a busy month for me. I enjoyed bringing the Word to my congregation and spending the day with my bride and half our six kiddos... My three older boys are off at various colleges; two couldn't make it back this year. The other has to head back early because he was marching in a Christmas parade with the Citadel Marching Band.
After our Christmas services I was able to put on my sweats and get a nap with my youngest in the recliner. We capped the day by watching National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and eating what is the traditional Christmas meal in our house, chili & cinnamon rolls.
Everybody is down for the count, so I'm going to close out my Christmas in the solitude of peace by enjoying a bourbon and a pipe in my study. God bless you all and Merry Christmas. ~Chris aka "Rev"

Amen.... You're right! We're going caroling to our homebound on Saturday & I preach again Sunday. But I get a "break" next week because we usually don't do mid-week Bible studies and communion during that week. The 12 days of the Christmas season is a bit of breather and a switch back to a regular Sunday schedule.... until Lent,.which comes early this year.Wait! You can’t just close out Christmas! There still 11 days to go!
The Epiphany season is just as significant as the Advent season!
