At least #2 got through, and I was given tracking info all the way through the last few stages in the other country so I know they do capture and return the info under normal circumstances.
Hoping that this means it's actually in limbo beyond our borders and not in a scrap pile somewhere.

I’m still waiting for my recipient to open their package. Apparently they are more patient than most of us on here.
Well the postman has come and gone and my porch is empty.

I received a secret Santa gift this morning, not from any of you sods though.
Our family had to relocate to another city for the advent season for my son to receive some specialist healthcare. Anyways we were given the green light that we could come home for a bit, so after a hearty Xmas Eve dinner, we packed the car and drove home late, arriving with just enough time to festify the hearth before midnight.
This morning on the doorstep was a small bag from one of the Latino families of a new entrance kid in the class I work in. They heard what was going on. It had chocolate caliente, alfajores and a pouch of argento natural pipe tobacco.
So looking forward to strolling around the garden, seeing what has gone crazy over the last month and puffing on this new to me blend.

UPS guy just came - dogs went berserk as usual - I got two of four books I'm expecting today - Ms. Postperson will bring the others "presently" - Santa gifts from ................... myself!!!! My family hates it when I buy anything around the holidays but these were a safe bet. I just watched the Dept. Q series last week and discovered it was based on the first of a series of novels, so I ordered a few. Oh yeah, a pipe came this morning as well, from ....... me!
